Sculpture Tour

Kaelyn and I went on the sculpture tour at Abington Art Center on Saturday while Brian was at a conference. Kaelyn slept through the whole thing, but I enjoyed looking at the instillation art and getting some exercise and fresh air. There's Kaelyn in the second photo . . .

Kaelyn has been very interested in her hands and feet as of late. She plays with her hands and likes to touch everything with her feet. That's all for now.

Dress Up

Today we had "try-on's" for a dress to wear when we go to get professional pictures done. Kaelyn liked playing dress-up and looking so pretty. I'm not sure that we've decided on a dress yet, though.

Hailey's New Vocabulary

This morning while eating breakfast at her tray in the living room, Hailey attempted to get up. In doing so she tipped the tray over spilling her french toast and syrup on the floor. Max was more than ok with this since he got a snack. When investigating this mess a little further Hailey looks down at the mess on the floor and says....."Holy shit!!" This is now our warning to start watching what we say and where we say it. I'm sure she isn't finished yet.

Kaelyn Talking

This video was taken a couple of days ago, but it makes me laugh - you should have heard the noises she was making before I started taking the video! Today we went to lunch with Pat & Charlene. Kaelyn was so good at the restaurant! She stayed awake the whole time just looking around until it was time to leave - I picked up her car seat and she closed her eyes. Tomorrow MomMom and Granpop are coming over to BBsit so that Brian and I can get out to see Batman.

Weekend

On Friday night, Christine, Brian's old co-worker from CHOP came to visit Kaelyn. She loves babies! She was also very happy because she is giving her notice today at CHOP and taking a job in Chicago to be closer to her boyfriend.

We went to Mom-Mom and Granpop's Sunday night for birthday dinner. Happy Birthday, Mom-Mom!

Time flies . . .

It's so hard to believe that Kaelyn is 3 months old today. I weighed her this morning on our home scale and she was 13lbs (however, our scale only does .5 oz). She has been getting better head control and absolutely loves having her fingers (or whole fist) in her mouth. She is so much fun - always smiling and making goofy faces.
